What Makes Shotokan Different From Other Styles?
Shotokan has more deeper stances and is a more “harder” fighting style. Gichin Funakoshi wanted to focus on more then just
self-defense and that is why this art also has more emphasis on health, breathing, releasing energy and outstanding mind and body control. Shotokan can be regarded as a 'hard' and 'external' martial art.
